Fish Bitters-F45 in Ring. Very popular and often reproduced. Embossed "W.H. Ware" and "The Fish Bitters". "originally promoted by a pair of Philadelphia, Pa. entrepreneurs from a recipe from the works of a Prussian doctor. Supposedly it was "prompt in action, palatable to the taste, and bracing and invigorating in it's effects upon both the body and mind"" Beautiful amber in colour and great detail. The lower pic is of F46, a variant Ware Fish in a golden amber, with an off center mouth. Ca: 1860's.
